POSITION: Inventory Specialist
POSITION LOCATION: Mt. Carmel, IL
REPORTS TO: Director of Production
JOB SUMMARY: Analyzes and performs root cause analysis on product not picked, product in wrong location, and product not properly replenished. Works directly with the inventory supervisor to maintain a high level of inventory accuracy and integrity.
REQUIREMENTS
- Knowledge of and ability to conduct 5-Why Analysis, and Root Cause Analysis (A3 or 8D).
- Strong analytical, time management, problem-solving, and attention to detail skills.
- Experience with Excel.
- Experience with computers.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Good attention to detail, math, and multi-tasking skills.
- Effective verbal and legible written communication skills required. Good reading comprehension is necessary. Able to effectively speak to a variety of demographics.
- Must be capable of working in a fast-paced team environment.
- Must be capable of lifting up to 35 pounds unassisted.
- Must be willing to work in an office and industrial setting with varying temperatures and noise levels.
PRIMARY OBJECTIVES
- Reports findings of root cause items on Production’s daily backorder list.
- Ensure part location and quantity accuracy.
- Reviews cycle count request log daily, reviews findings, and assigns parts to cycle count team members.
- Participates in the yearly whole warehouse inventory cycle count.
- Other duties as assigned
Salary : $38,000 - $48,200
