What are the responsibilities and job description for the Academic Enrichment Educator (AEE) position at Mount Abraham Unified School District?
MAUSD's Expanded Learning Program seeks creative and energetic individuals to lead afterschool play and enrichment-based classrooms with our Bristol, Monkton, Beeman, and/or Starksboro afterschool programs. AEE's develop curriculum, understand and exercise licensing regulations, manage the classroom schedule, community and provide mentoring to AESs, AEISs, and AEPSs. AEE's keep attendance records, contribute to program newsletters, provide evidence of curriculum design and accountability of classroom oversite and management. Flexible schedules are available. This position is part time (2:00 - 6:00 M-F (or alternative schedules may include a couple days a week). While the afterschool program runs 3:00-5:30, AEEs are allocated planning and set-up time from 2:00 - 3:00 and 5:30-6:00) up to 20 hours per week and is paid at a rate of $25.00 per hour.
