Elderly Caretaker

Overview

At Mount Hope Home Care we are seeking 5 dedicated and hard working caregivers

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care services including bathing, grooming, and dressing to residents.
• Assist with medication administration as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
• Observe and document patient behavior and physical condition accurately.
• Support residents with mobility, including heavy lifting when necessary.
• Ensure that all resident rights are respected and upheld at all times.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents, adhering to health and safety protocols.
• Engage residents in social activities to promote mental well-being and community involvement.

Experience

• Previous experience in long-term care
• Familiarity with vital signs monitoring and patient observation techniques.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members.
• A compassionate approach to caregiving with a focus on enhancing the quality of life for individuals in your care.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks as required by the needs of the residents.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $11.00 - $12.00 per hour

• Weekends as needed

• Caregiving: 1 year (Preferred)
