Roles & Responsibilities:

The postdoctoral fellow will join a well-established research team with active research protocols on risk, prevention, and treatment of posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and moral injury. The fellow will have opportunities for training related to diagnostic evaluation, treatment, and biomarkers of PTSD. Primary responsibilities include conducting structured diagnostic assessments and scoring of psychological tests for veteran and civilian research participants. The applicant will also participate in consensus diagnostic conferences. The postdoctoral fellow will have opportunities to conduct data analysis and assist with manuscript preparation, as well as contribute to grant writing. Research oriented candidates may have access to multiple cross sectional and treatment outcome datasets, and have opportunities to propose and contribute to manuscript development. Clinically oriented candidates will receive supervision for clinical assessments that may be used for licensure.

Compensation

The Mount Sinai Health System (MSHS) provides a salary range to comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $28989.73 - $90000.04 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
