Compensation
Mount Sinai South Nassau provides a salary range in good faith determination of potential compensation to comply with the New York State law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. Summary:
The Admitting Clerk perform accurate and timely admissions of patients to their perspective units by utilizing the appropriate hospital systems, maintaining patient confidentiality. The Admitting Clerk also strives to facilitate patients and/or families payments and assist those with financial hardship in the most cost effective means possible and ensure timely cash flow.

- Knowledge and Experience with Managed Care & Third Party Insurance Coverage and Requirements.
- Good organizational, planning and problem solving skills.
- Knowledge of Medical Terminology & Coding Preferred.
- Good Written & Oral Skills.
