Description
A Food Service Worker plates dishes and completes basic food-prepping tasks for a cafeteria. Their main duties include preparing and cooking food in a specific station, cleaning up prep areas, and making sure the kitchen is stocked.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Work with customers to ensure that orders are completed according to guests’ requests and delivered on time.

Wash and clean the kitchen and cooking utensils and store the equipment at the end of shifts.

Ensure that the kitchen operation procedures and hygiene meet food safety standards and regulations.
Qualifications
Job Qualifications:

Superior dexterity skills to operate cutting tools quickly and safely.

Keen understanding of industry-standard best cooking and preparation practices.

Familiarity with safe and sanitary food handling and preparation.

Certified in proper good handling, typically through a ServSafe Certification.

Excellent organizational, time management, multitasking, and teamwork skills.

Able to lift 50 lbs.
