What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mountainland Supply Service Technician position at Mountain Contractors Supply Group?
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure a high level of customer service is always provided, internally and externally
- Build and develop relationships with customers to help encourage customers to ask for support on our products
- Create and provide technical training to customers and fellow employee owners
- Build and maintain connections with potential and current customers through training and technical assistance
- Facilitate trainings internally and externally on technical features and benefits of company heating product lines
- Educate others on best practices; emphasize the best applications and installation procedures of products
- Address questions concerning products installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting
- Analyze and determine customers’ needs and recommend training to meet those needs
- May coordinate equipment quality and warranty issues and reports with factory or vendor
- Investigate product warranty claims to ensure resolution within organization policies
- Keep informed of new products and product changes that might affect product installation and service
- May work with appropriate vendors or internal departments to obtain support and assistance in meeting customers' needs
- Work closely with manufacturers’ representatives to provide customer feedback on product
- Perform other various duties, as outlined by supervisor

Qualifications and Physical Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience in the field of Service and Maintenance experience on Residential and Light Commercial HVAC equipment
- RMA and EPA certifications required
- Additional certifications are preferred (example: NATE)
- Able to physically access areas where equipment is installed
- Ability to travel to job site locations for assistance as needed
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs
- OSHA regulated Steel Toe Shoes: Either an ASTM F243 M/I/50/C/50 or ANSI Z41 PT M/I/50/50. Or an ASTM F2413 F/I/50/C/50 or ANSI Z41 PT F/I/50/C/50
