Director of Nursing
Seeking an energetic and committed professional to work in a dynamic organization supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Day-to-day supervision and oversight of the delivery of health services throughout the agency.
- Supervise, plan, organize and assign responsibilities for all RNs and LPNs.
- Conduct on-site inspections and reviews to ensure compliance with standards regarding the delivery of services.
- Oversee all purchases of medical supplies and equipment.
- Serve as a liaison for medical issues and concerns with the Chief Operating Officer, Directors, pharmacies and hospital personnel as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master’s Degree in a related field and 3-5 years of administrative experience preferred.
- Knowledge of medical/clinical services delivery needs.
- A Bachelor’s Degree may be acceptable given appropriate experience.
- RN license to practice in New York State required.
- At least two years supervisory experience in a clinical or agency setting preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $64,579.00 - $80,000.00 per year
