Repair and Maintenance Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Repair and Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills, with experience in facilities maintenance and a focus on ensuring optimal operational efficiency. The Repair and Maintenance Technician will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and improving restaurant equipment and building structures to ensure uninterrupted operations.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair issues related to electrical systems, mechanical components, and logic controllers.
• Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to identify problems and implement effective solutions.
• Utilize tools such as an ohmmeter for testing electrical components and ensuring proper functionality.
• Perform routine and preventative maintenance on restaurant equipment and facility systems.
• Document repairs and maintenance activities within the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly with clients regarding repairs, timelines, and recommendations.
• Assist with facilities maintenance including HVAC, plumbing, lighting, and general building upkeep
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and maintain a clean, organized work environment

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical knowledge including welding, troubleshooting, and repair of equipment.
• Knowledge of facilities maintenance including HVAC, plumbing and general building systems
• Proficiency in reading schematics and technical drawings.
• Familiarity with logic controllers is preferred.
• Ability to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Experience using an ohmmeter and other diagnostic tools is essential.
• Previous experience with CMMS is a plus.
• EPA 608 Certification (Type II or Universal) is preferred
• Restaurant or Multi-Site Commercial experience is preferred
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to collaborate across teams.

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
