Description:

The Associate Clinical Director (ACD) is responsible for supporting the delivery of clinical services to all residents through supervision of assigned clinicians. The ACD, in addition to providing individual, group and family therapy, directly supervises clinicians, leads treatment team meetings, conducts clinical trainings to all staff, and maintains regular contact with families and other important stakeholders, providing for a high level of quality assurance. Essential job functions include those listed below.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee, coordinate, and manage, in accordance with policy and professional standards, resident cases.
  • Serve as a clinician for an assigned caseload of 2-5 residents, and additional cases if there are clinician vacancies.
  • Provide individual and group therapy in accordance with treatment plan for residents and per the design of the program milieu.
  • Provide family therapy and related family services per treatment plan and family program as defined by policy.
  • Be a regular presence in the milieu and within the ERP activities, ensuring adherence to what is determined clinically appropriate.
  • Participate in weekly supervision with Clinical Director
  • Support the documented weekly supervision of clinicians and clinical interns, ensuring the system established by the Clinical Director is adhered to, and provide direct supervision in the absence of the Clinical Director and as assigned.
  • Provide ongoing support to all clinical staff, as well as training under the broad direction of the Clinical Director
  • Assist with curriculum development of clinician-led groups
  • Work closely with the Program Director, Director of Enrollment Management and Assistant Director of Enrollment Management, and other Management Team staff to support a professional and systematic intake process
  • Review preliminary treatment plans for all incoming residents
  • All other duties as assigned by the Executive Director or the Clinical Director

Minimum Education/Skills/Experience:

The position requires a Masters-level degree and clinically specific license, and at least two (2) years of documented experience working with adolescent clients with anxiety and related disorders. A candidate must also have at least one (1) year of clinical supervisory and staff management experience.

Strong verbal communications skills and demonstrated ability to write clearly and persuasively. Strong group facilitation and presentation skills. Demonstrated ability to think strategically and thorough understanding of strategic development. Open to genuine engagement with youth and families while maintaining appropriate boundaries and critical awareness of the therapeutic process.

Salary:

$85,000 or more, depending o experience and qualifications.
