Currently we are looking to fill the vital role of Emergency Department Sitter/Tech.
JOB SUMMARY:
- The Emergency Department Sitter/Tech shall be primarily responsible for direct observation and documentation of behavioral health and impaired/altered patient in the Emergency Department setting. Additionally, they may also be responsible for clinical duties within scope of practice, housekeeping, department stocking, in-hospital transportation, security assistance, documentation, and other duties as assigned.
- Uses critical thinking skills to ensure efficiency and assist with troubleshooting.
- Is an integral part of the patient care team.
- Must be able to adhere to the attendance policy and have good attendance history.
- The ability to multi-task and prioritize to handle stressful situations is required for this position.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Current CNA, MA, or EMT certification/license required.
- BLS Certification is required within 30 days of hire.
