What are the responsibilities and job description for the License Vocational Nurse-Per Diem position at Mountains Community Hospital?
SUMMARY
The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) provides prescribed medical treatment and personal care to patients that are ill, injured, convalescent or disabled per the State of California Nursing Practice Act under the supervision of the Registered Nurse in the following settings at Mountains Community Hospital: Medical Surgical Unit, Emergency Services, Perioperative Services and Skilled Nursing Facility. On call required.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Preferred one-year clinical experience as an LVN in an acute care or skilled nursing facility.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Current license to practice Vocational Nursing in the State of California.
Current CPR certificate.
Basic arrhythmia desired
ACLS desired, Required if LVN works in ER
IV certification within 6 months
Salary : $29 - $40
