Education and/or Experience

• High School degree or equivalent required.
• Previous spa management experience required.

Job Knowledge, Core Competencies and Expectations

• Experience in related job preferred.
• Responsible for Managing Department Budget

Job Summary (Essential Functions)

As a Spa Manager, you will work in a beautiful space as you fill a leadership role in ensuring guest satisfaction through spa and retail services. You will lead the team, create schedules, training, accountability, assist in monthly inventory and assist the Director with other duties as needed. You will be responsible for always keeping a clean well stocked space. You will be focused on optimizing each guest’s experience by providing a warm, relaxing, personalized, and incredibly friendly environment to every guest. You will oversee and support the Spa & Wellness team ensuring they are performing the tasks and duties at hand. The Spa Manager will perform opening/closing duties as requested. You will be trained on accountability, scheduling, ordering/inventory, and other leadership duties as season progresses.

Job Tasks/Duties

The Spa Manager must be able to maintain a professional, friendly demeanor while multi-tasking and facilitating smooth flow throughout spa and fitness areas. You must have a pleasant attitude with a willingness to assist our members/guests/staff, have good phone and computer skills, be able to navigate appointment calendar. As a manager you must lead by example promoting a pleasant environment of teamwork and cohesiveness. 3 years in a spa, resort, or retail preferred.

• Explain/describe in detail Spa treatments, specials, services and facilities available in a timely, helpful, and friendly manner as well as be able to train on them.
• Maintain a clean and organized desk/lobby area. Be aware of retail area and keep organized at all times.
• Utilize Spa computers with skill and proficiency.
• Communicate all pertinent information with to the team.
• Manage overall cleanliness of the spa & fitness
• Clean, stock, and sanitize locker room, lounge, wet areas, and fitness center as needed throughout the day.
• Roll towels
• Clean showers and replenish shower amenities

Physical Demands and Work Environment

• Frequent lifting, bending, climbing, stooping and pulling.
• Frequent repetitive motions.
• Continuous standing and walking.
