What are the responsibilities and job description for the Feedmill Driver position at Mountaire Farms?
Duties include operating a tractor trailer traveling to poultry farms to delivery bulk feed. Other responsibilities include routine maintenance checks and being comfortable driving and working in all weather conditions. Report, clean up, and properly dispose of feed spills.
Duties/Activities Required by Job
- Pick up and load feed truck and deliver feed to designated Poultry Farms.
- Conduct daily pre- and post-trip inspections of vehicles to exceed company and D.O.T regulations.
- Load the truck and empty loads into feed bins.
- Report, clean up, and properly dispose of feed spills.
- Follow all company safety policies, S.O.P regulations, as well as support Goal Zero mission statement.
Educations/Experience Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2 years of CDL Class A driving experience with Commercial Motor Vehicle (Tractor Trailer).
- CDL Class A.
