Primary Purpose
JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsible for removing incubator racks from appropriate setters and transporting to the Embrex device. Load the Embrex device with egg flats from the incubator racks. Load eggs from Embrex device into hatcher baskets and place on hatcher dollies. Load the dollies in the correct hatcher. Wash all farm and incubator racks. Dispose of all infertile eggs in vacuum system. Clean Embrex devices, incubators, hatch halls and setter halls after transfer is complete.

Major Duties & Responsibilities
- Places egg flats containing hatching eggs into Embrex machine after removing cracked or rotten eggs.
- Removes hatcher basket containing hatching eggs from Embrex machine and places on hatcher dolley.
- Cleans and disinfects farm racks with empty egg flats as well as empty incubator racks.
- Transport incubator racks containing hatching eggs from incubators to Embrex machine.
- Transport hatcher dollies containing eggs from Embrex machine to hatcher hall and load into correct hatcher.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Basic math skills.
- Completion of all safety training, including lockout-tagout.
- Continuous standing, walking, twisting, lifting, bending, stooping, pushing and pulling.
- Works in a hatchery environment.
