Job Summary:
We are seeking a professional who is a quick learner and is able to operate independently. This candidate should be able to perform routine accounting functions: accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll processes, and maintenance of general ledger.
Essential Functions & Competencies:
Perform routine accounting functions such as Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payables, and Payroll.
Process all functions, processes and reporting for Accounts Payable as well as review codes and verifies transactions for all payments and checks processed, for refunds, rents, vendor payments.
Process semi-monthly payroll and manual checks for terminations and any other additional payroll check requests as needed.
Publish payroll reports, review payroll records quarterly and at year-end, prepare payroll quarterly and yearly reconciliations including tax payments.
401K & HSA Contribution reconciliation
Manage Accounts Receivable, daily deposits, EFT and credit card processes,, checks and reviews all postings.
Cash flow: EFT downloads and deposits and updating cash flow spreadsheet.
Download daily all EFT and EOB and save files for Billing.
Assist clinic staff with questions or requests regarding revenue, voiding credit card payments, and refunding credit card payments.
Retrieving Explanation of Benefits for EFT payment batches.
Perform additional Projects and Tasks for the Accounting Department as needed.
Can complete moderately complex calculations
Basic understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
Expected to gain and attain full proficiency in all routine accounting functions
Accurate, conscientious and detail oriented
Ability to meet required deadlines

All PTO accrues per pay period to equal these amounts annually. Additionally, we offer selected paid holidays.
