Movement gyms feature bouldering, top-roping and lead climbing, as well as amenities like yoga studios, functional fitness and cardio zones, childcare, and retail pro shops. Each facility caters to participants of all abilities – from competitive athletes to weekend adventurers and families. Presently, Movement is represented in greater Washington D.C., San Francisco, Denver, Chicago, Dallas, Fountain Valley, and Portland. JOB SUMMARY
Personal Trainers are expected to listen and understand what their clients are seeking during a private lesson or over a series of sessions. We are actively looking for a top-tier trainer who can consistently deliver a transformative experience to their clients. A nationally recognized Personal Training certification is required.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Respond to inquiries and schedule sessions independently that meet the client's criteria by email, phone, or in person.
Monitor client's energy levels and support the athlete while promoting our core values.
Be curious and question to further your understanding of what the client is hoping to gain.
Ability to develop training plans for a broad range of clients.
Present a plan for how that session or a series of sessions could progress over time.
Provide a transformative experience for the client.
Document training sessions thoroughly & consistently to support the leadership team.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

Have the knowledge and skillset to support an advanced client base of youth & adult clients.
Demonstrate knowledge and experience in training instruction commensurate with the clients level
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with clients, peers, and gym leadership.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
This is a part-time hourly position with a starting pay range of $21.33 per hour with flexibility based on experience.
Group Fitness opportunities are encouraged and available to Personal Trainers.
Full-time employment is possible if combined with another role or this role could grow clientele to hit the metrics where it becomes a full-time position. Full-time employees are eligible for benefits including health and disability insurance, vacation accrual, 401k, and other perks/benefits
