- Mondays: 4:00 PM - 7:30 PM
- Wednesdays: 4:00 PM - 7:30 PM
Saturdays: 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM (starting in September 2025)
Pay: $15/hr - $18/hr
Position Overview: Movements Academy of Dance is seeking a dedicated and passionate receptionist to join our team. In this role, you will play an essential part in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of our studio. You’ll be the welcoming face for our students and their families, providing exceptional customer service while supporting the administrative needs of the studio.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service:
- Greet students and parents warmly, addressing inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
- Maintain a positive and welcoming atmosphere in the studio.
- Administrative Support:
- Manage student registrations, tuition payments, and class schedules using studio management software.
- Handle phone calls, emails, and other communications effectively and efficiently.
- Keep records organized and up to date, including attendance tracking and account information.
- Studio Operations:
- Assist in coordinating studio events, such as recitals, picture days, and special activities.
- Monitor the front desk area, ensuring cleanliness and organization.
- Ensure studio policies and procedures are communicated effectively to families.
- Marketing Support:
- Assist in distributing promotional materials and studio updates to families.
- Support the team in creating social media content or newsletters, as needed.
Qualifications:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with basic computer software (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Workspace).
- Experience with studio management software is a plus but not required (training will be provided).
- A friendly and professional demeanor with a passion for working with children and families.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 10 per week
