Direct Support Professionals (DSP) Duties
- These caregivers help individuals in upholding safe and healthy lifestyles within our community
- Assist with transportation, going to appointments, and daily living activities
- Follow guidelines, medications, and care plans accurately
- Collaborate with other members of the support team, including families, healthcare professionals, and case managers, to ensure the overall well-being and quality of life of individuals with disabilities
- Provide emotional support and encouragement to individuals, and advocate for their rights and needs
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- At least one year of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or an associate degree in human services or a related field
- Valid Driver's License
- Monday - Friday, hours vary with occasional evenings and weekends as needed
