Account Executive

One of the nation’s top E&S wholesale brokerage firms is seeking an E&S Account Executive to join their leading team in the Southwest. This role will support the management of a large book of business across Arizona, California, Nevada, Utah, and Oregon. Key Responsibilities

Underwriting & Risk Assessment

• Evaluate complex risks that fall outside standard insurance guidelines.
• Determine appropriate coverage, pricing, and policy structures.
• Negotiate terms with brokers and clients.

Business Development

• Build and maintain strong relationships with wholesale brokers and agents.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
• Promote E&S insurance products.

Account Management

• Oversee a portfolio of E&S accounts, ensuring client satisfaction and retention.
• Manage renewals, policy changes, and ongoing service needs.

Sales & Marketing

• Utilize consultative sales techniques to drive business growth.
• Develop and execute strategic sales plans.
• Meet or exceed sales targets.

Compliance

• Ensure adherence to all regulations governing E&S insurance lines.

Ideal Candidate Qualifications

Insurance Expertise: Strong knowledge of E&S insurance products, underwriting principles, and industry regulations.

Sales & Negotiation Skills: Proven track record in insurance sales with excellent negotiation and communication abilities.

Relationship Management: Ability to cultivate and maintain relationships with brokers and clients.

Analytical Ability: Skilled in assessing complex risks and making sound underwriting decisions.

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field.
• Several years of experience in E&S underwriting or sales.
• Professional designations (e.g., CPCU) are a plus.
