What we’re looking for: An Associate Director, Influencer and Social Strategy with proven expertise in influencer marketing, social media strategy and platforms and digital distribution. The position is in our New York office, leading social and influence strategy and innovation for iconic P&G brands, while helping to drive innovation for the P&G team and MSL. They will shape creative and strategic recommendations for brand social strategy, influencer models and executions, and measurement. They will ensure influence and social activities and thinking are incorporated into integrated strategy, and defining the role they play in Marketing plans. In addition, the Associate Director will support driving thought leadership and education for the team and clients, developing POVs and recommendations on industry changes, new approaches to social and influence and next & new in social strategy, influence marketing, analytics and reporting.


What you bring to the table: The ideal candidate should have significant experience in consumer marketing with a focus on executing national digital, social and influencer programs for leading consumer brands. You should be true team player with an innovation mindset and the ability to shape strategy that delivers measurable business results efficiently and effectively with excellence. You should have a passion for driving forward the industry, and have a strong macro view of the marketplace, including social platforms, vendor platforms and the talent agencies.


What you’ll do: You will engage with account teams and clients to develop program goals, outline operational plans and participate in key strategy meetings. Leverage insights from data-driven tools to help set clear and engaging digital campaigns that resonate with consumer audiences and deliver a positive impact on brand image.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead development of innovative, results-oriented, digital, social & influencer programs that compel consumers to action and drive business results
  • Staying current with the latest developments in consumer engagement campaigns; proactively integrating and advocating new technologies and opportunities.
  • Agile and collaborative working style - demonstrated ability to work against tight timelines and part of cross-discipline agency and client teams
  • Prepare and present influencer strategies to internal teams and clients
  • Lead large scale influencer and digital activations
  • Demonstrate strong analytical skills and utilize analytic tools to effectively track and measure success of activations, as well as inform strategic optimization recommendations in real time and future planning
  • Effectively present data-based results, leveraging successes to build further work
  • Develop POV and recommendations for P&G and MSL
  • Establish and evolve best practices across influencer campaigns and teams; support digital skill building of teams


Job Requirements:

  • 6 years previous experience and a B.A. in Public Relations, Communications or a related discipline
  • Digital native with understanding of social from owned, earned and paid perspectives
  • In-depth knowledge of related trends and industry sector events and experience working with the news media, social influencers and brand ambassadors
  • Proven experience in executing client programs with a blend of strong time management, proactivity, mentoring and client relation skills
  • Proven experience in the Consumer Packaged Goods space
  • Proven experience working in tandem with other creative agencies to develop comprehensive campaigns
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills as well as an ability to develop and present compelling client proposals


Compensation Range: $91,000-$154,000. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. For this role, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k and paid time off.

Salary : $91,000 - $154,000
