What are the responsibilities and job description for the Staff Veterinarian - Ophthalmologist at Angell West position at MSPCA-Angell?
This is a newly created position at our growing Angel West practice! MSPCA-Angell West, our 24-hour emergency and referral satellite hospital in the west suburbs of Boston, was recently opened by Angell Animal Medical Center. The hospital is approximately 17,000 square feet, has been newly renovated, and is located 10 miles west of Boston in Waltham. We are seeking a board certified or residency trained ophthalmologist to join our team.
Our current staff includes two criticalists, two internists, a surgeon, a cardiologist, an avian and exotics specialist, eight experienced emergency doctors, and rotating specialists from Boston. Our hospital is equipped with digital radiography, ultrasound, endoscopy, in house lab machines, telemetry, and 3 surgical suites. Doctors also have access to the extensive resources of AAMC Boston and work in collaboration with the Boston staff to provide the highest quality patient and client care in a seamless environment.
