Here is what a typical day might look like as a Fire Alarm Technician:
- Youll perform routine inspections, testing, servicing, installation and preventative maintenance of life safety product lines its something new every day!
- Youll troubleshoot system problems and resolve them via physical equipment installation or software changes
- Drive to and from customer sites as needed in your company truck (as long as your driving record is acceptable)
Here are some of the skills were looking for in a Fire Alarm Technician:
- Two years of experience installing, maintaining and servicing commercial fire alarm and/or security systems
- Experience working with Notifier and Avigilon products would be great but isnt required
- Posess or obtain knowledge of NFPA, State and local fire codes and be or become NICET certified
