Medical Assistant
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- Rooming patients and taking vitals
- Administering injections
- Administering EKG's
- Maintaining patient information and updating as necessary
- Ensure clean and organized patient rooms of MA area
- Answering phone calls
- Speaking with patients regarding lab/testing results
- Answering phones
Experience:
- Previous experience as a medical receptionist preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Proficient in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
