What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Assistant position at Mt Rose Foot & Ankle Specialists?
We are seeking a full time Medical Assistant to become a part of our team! You will perform routine administrative and clinical assignments to keep the medical office running smoothly and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Handle all administrative duties in a timely manner
- Maintain patient charts within EHR system (patient demographics & history)
- Being able to draw up injections and take accurate blood pressure
- Perform routine clinical tasks to support medical staff
- Escort patients to exam rooms & clean exam rooms
- Being a team player and cross-training
- Providing excellent patient care
- Cutting patients nails as part of our nail clinic
- Duties to be added as needed
Qualifications:
- Necessary industry certifications and education or previous experience in healthcare administration or other related fields
- Possess outstanding time management, communication, and technical skills
- Can-do attitude, a proactive nature, a strong sense of ownership and integrity and a desire to continue to learn and grow
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
