After Care Program Coordinator
Flex has current openings for the 2024-2025 school year for part-time Program Coordinators in our aftercare program at Inspired Teaching Public Charter School and Creative Minds International Public Charter School. You MUST have a passion for “making a difference”. The position is Monday through Friday during the school year-hours from 2:30 p.m.-6:30 p.m. daily (hours could vary)
The Program Coordinator will:
- Ensure a strong academic experience for all students.
- Provide ongoing training and support to program staff.
- Supervise and coordinate program instructors on-site.
- Ensure fidelity of the Flex Model in programming.
- Ensure compliance with appropriate state licensing regulations.
- Develop and maintain constant communication with families and school leadership.
- Ensure that all administrative functions are completed, including all state licensing-related paperwork (i.e. maintaining staff and child files).
Program Coordinator Qualifications:
- Passionate about helping kids succeed
- Possess a willingness to learn
- Agree to a background check and complete the required training
- The program Coordinator must be at least 21 years old and have verifiable experience teaching school-age children in a structured setting
- Current Certification as a Child Development Associate or Certified Child Care Professional OR University Degree or Education Equivalent.
- Must be able to meet and stay current on state-specific licensing requirements
