What you should know: Mulberry has with a local production company in SW Portland to hire an AP/AR Specialist! This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of our financial transactions and maintaining accurate records. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess exceptional attention to detail, and be adept at managing multiple responsibilities.
A day in the life:
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Verify and reconcile invoices, ensuring timely payments and collections.
- Monitor aging reports and follow up on outstanding balances.
- Maintain vendor and customer records, ensuring data integrity.
- Prepare and issue invoices to customers and statements as needed.
- Handle inquiries from vendors and customers regarding payments and invoices.
- Assist with all financial procedures and account reconciliations.
- Utilize accounting software to process transactions and generate reports.
- Support the finance team with additional tasks and projects as required.
- Front desk and other administrative duties.
- Other duties as necessary.
Your areas of knowledge and expertise:
- 2 years of AP/AR experience
- Bilingual English/Spanish highly desired
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize workload effectively.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Problem solving and strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Willingness to work overtime as business needs require.
- Previous experience in agricultural or related industries is a plus.
Compensation and Benefits: $25-$28/HR annually with benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401k, FSA, PTO, and more!
