Automotive Technician
Mullinax Ford is looking for a dependable, hard-working, self-motivated team member with an enthusiastic presence to join our multi-store enterprise. The prime candidate will be goal oriented with a positive dynamic attitude and a strong willingness to learn. 6 months to 1-year automotive experience required. Pay level is dependent upon experience and will be discussed during the interview process.
Schedule: Monday thru Saturday - Hours vary - No Sundays!
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Perform work specified on repair orders with efficiency and in accordance with dealership policy
- Perform thorough and accurate multi point inspections
- Complete test drives of vehicles as necessary
- Provide superior customer satisfaction
- Maintain legible and accurate paperwork for both the customer and our records
- Clean and maintain work environment to ensure equipment longevity and workplace safety
- Computerized transactions and record keeping
- Follow all Company procedures and standards
- Perform all duties as assigned
Qualifications for this job:
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Basic vehicle knowledge
- Basic tool set
- 6 months to 1-year automotive experience
- Basic computer, email, and internet proficiency
- Strong time management skills
- Able to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects as needed
- Lifting of heavy items of up to 75 pounds
- Able to withstand exposure to adverse weather conditions, chemicals, odors, dirt and dust
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Driver’s license with an acceptable motor vehicle driving record according to dealership guidelines
- Must be able to pass background screening and drug test
