Job Title: Network Coordinator Location: Downtown Atlanta, GA Classification: Exempt Position Grade: Coordinator Program: Network Reports To: Network Supervisor Work Environment: 25% in Office About Us: Multi-Agency Alliance for Children is a non-profit organization committed to creating positive outcomes for vulnerable youth and families. Our mission is to coordinate resources, information, and a network of quality providers. We are currently seeking a Network Coordinator, who will play a pivotal role in supporting our youth and providers within our network collaborative in helping at-risk youth successfully transition into adulthood.
Job Purpose: The Network Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and facilitating placement support for each youth served by maintaining accurate records, timely requisitions for service requests, individualized resources, and ongoing communication with all team members. This role is crucial in supporting the best interest of the youth served. The Network Coordinator is responsible for ensuring youth served have every opportunity to be successful in the home, school, and community settings.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate and participate in ongoing meetings with youth, families, partner agencies and community members such as DFCS, DJJ, and school systems to identify strengths & explore needs of youth and families served.
• Organize and prepare for meetings including but not limited to, drafting, and developing action and/or safety plans, identifying, and developing individualized resources to meet the unique needs of the youth and families served.
• Travel to and occasionally transport youth to visits and appointments to support partner agencies.
• Entering documentation within required timelines into Exponent Case Management (ECM) or designated MAAC database.
Qualifications
Essential:
• Bachelor’s degree in human services, or related field (Masters’ preferred) with 2 years of relevant experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail.
• Strong time management skills to meet deadlines and proactive in nature.
• Strong strategic, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred:
• Knowledge of the Georgia Child Welfare, Behavioral Health System, Educational system, and MAAC and its many functions.
• Experience working with and in a youth or family-centered practice model and crisis intervention.
Work Environment: This role is a full-time, 40-hour a week position that generally works in the field and requires occasional monthly in-office presence in Downtown Atlanta. To effectively support the youth, the expected work week is Monday through Friday with some evenings and weekend work as needed.
