What are the responsibilities and job description for the Licensed Substitute Teacher position at Multiple Locations?
This application is for those who have a current valid TSPC license, not those seeking sponsorship for a TSPC License.
If you were a substitute teacher in our district for the 2024-25 you do not need to complete this application.
Please complete the annual required trainings through Clackamas ESD and submit your training transcript to Human Resources.
After completing the Substitute Teacher application, you will be contacted by the HR Department with next steps after we review your application.
Substitute Requirements:
- Hold a Valid TSPC Oregon teacher's license
- Demonstrate the ability to establish positive rapport with students.
- Ability to carry out lesson plans prepared by the regular teacher.
- Ability to follow District policy and procedures.
- Maintain safe environment for students at all times.
Licensed Substitutes must be registered with the Clackamas ESD Substitute Registry AND complete the mandatory annual training modules.
Licensed Substiutes are paid in half or full day increments.
Substitutes who teach in the same job/classroom for more than 10 consecutive days will be paid at a higher rate beginning on the 11th day.
