Behavior Aide (Part-Time)

Multiplicity Therapeutic Services (MTS) is recruiting a part-time, behavior aide or behavior management assistant in Mendocino County, CA. MTS provides behavior intervention programs for neurodiverse individuals and people with other behavior needs. The support we offer our clients are informed by applied behavior analysis (ABA) and our approach is rooted in empathy, respect, humility, authenticity, anti-ableism, and genuine care. By combining evidence-based ABA interventions with a humanistic, anti-ableist approach, we aim to provide the highest quality of behavioral and skill acquisition services available. Employees schedule will depend on employee’s availability and agency needs; could range 5-20 hours per week, scheduling is flexible.

Current Job Duties:

*Ability to work with autistic individuals and other neurodiverse individuals in the home, community, and school settings

*Ability to follow through with behavioral support and skill acquisition plans as directed by MTS clinicians

*Ability to work with a variety of character styles and situational concerns in a professional and caring manner

*Ability to record data as requested for both behavioral challenges and skill acquisition

*Strong work ethic in which consistency, reliability, compassion, and care are at the forefront of decision-making

**Experience with Autism or a second language (Spanish/ASL) a PLUS!!**

Current Job Requirements:

*Behavior Aide: Possession of a high school diploma or equivalent with a willingness to learn

*Behavior Management Assistant: Bachelor's degree or higher with a willingness to learn

*Ability to transport clients in the community ensuring client safety at all times. This includes maintaining a vehicle that is in safe working order consistent with the California Department of Motor Vehicle standards.
