About the job:
The Training Specialist is responsible for training, coaching and developing Retail Banking Operations employees in line with the Credit Union’s strategic initiatives. The Training Specialist responsibility includes content management, development, maintenance, design and delivery of Retail Banking programs.
What you’ll be responsible for:
- Design Retail Banking training related documents, materials and presentations.
- Deliver a wide range of training and development programs that meet the needs of the department and position specific needs.
- Monitor Compliance Training on a monthly and quarterly basis, providing delinquency and completion reports quarterly.
- Coordinate with Retail Banking management employees to achieve full participation.
- Responsible for training logistics to include booking rooms for training and non-department trainers, coordinating with IT and Facilities to maintain/update training room.
- Responsible for classroom management, pre-class preparation, post class debrief; coach and deliver feedback to participants; escalate concerns to Retail Banking Management, Human Resources and direct manager, as warranted.
- Review and edit training content for consistency, design and identify improvement opportunities for course.
- Ensure procedures, policies, exercises and practices meets department standards.
- Maintain training materials to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Travel as Required
- Some college degree, preferably in business or equivalent years of financial services experience.
- Minimum five years retail banking experience preferred.
- Experience using online course authoring tools (Camtasia preferred)
- Experience managing an LMS.
