Now hiring Part-Time Bus Driver to join our team at Munster Med-Inn!
We are seeking a dependable Medical Transportation Driver to join our team. You will be responsible for safely transporting patients to and from medical appointments and treatments operating a medical transportation vehicle.
The following is a summary and list of requirements for the position :
SUMMARY : Non-Emergency Medical Transportation Driver will transport eligible patients to and from medical appointments and treatments within NWI area.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
- Perform assigned transports daily in a safe and timely manner.
- Verify all transports and services rendered via electronic transportation portal.
- Complete a daily inspection of assigned vehicle before start of the day.
- Driver must be courteous, caring, patient, and professional at all times.
- The driver must be flexible working varying hours.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS :
The employee will regularly lift and / or push more than 100 pounds.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED :
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety policies and protocols, operating and maintenance instructions, and standard operation procedure manuals.
- Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record within the past year. If you are retired and looking for an extra income, that is a HUGE PLUS!
MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION :
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1 year of related driving experience
- Must be able to meet physical requirements.
