Health Insurance Sales Agent

Expected Compensation: During the initial 14-16 weeks, as the Agent builds a book of business, they will receive a weekly salary based on the number of enrollments that week. After this period, the Agent will transition to 100% commission structure from the book of business they have built that pays residually. Most agents have achieved $4,000 to $6,000 per month in the first 6 months and $80,000 to $100,000 in the first year as Agents continue to grow their book of business.

Duties / Responsibilities:·

• Travel from business to business throughout South Carolina to enroll individuals into ACA health insurance plans.
• Daily record client visits.

Required Experience and Skills:

• Effective written, oral communication and presentation skills, as well as personable on the phone.
• Demonstrated success in a professional environment or service industry.
• Well-developed persuasion and negotiation skills and a proven ability to build rapport with prospective and existing customers.
• Effective time management and organizational skills.
• High level of integrity, flexible and able to be coached.
• Self-starter, motivated, and driven to succeed with the ability to work independently.

Education:

• · High school diploma or equivalent required.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to travel around the state of South Carolina unassisted as needed for business related meetings / client visits.
• Ability to sit at a desk or in a personal vehicle for prolonged periods of time, as well as work on a computer or tablet.
• Ability to use standard office equipment and phone ad lift up to 15 pounds at a time.
