Job Summary:
Murphy Ford, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as the Used Car Manager. This is a full-time, individual contributor role in the auto industry located in Chester, Pennsylvania. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the automotive industry, specifically in used car sales and management. The Used Car Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our used car department, including purchasing, pricing, inventory management, and sales.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to increase used car sales and profitability
- Monitor market trends and adjust pricing accordingly to ensure competitiveness
- Source and purchase used vehicles from auctions, trade-ins, and private sellers
- Manage dealership's used car inventory, ensuring vehicles are in top condition and attractively priced
- Train and manage a team of sales associates to achieve sales goals
- Create and implement effective marketing campaigns to promote used car sales
- Work with finance department to secure financing for customers
- Provide exceptional customer service and resolve any issues that may arise
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and attend relevant workshops and trainings
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent, some college or automotive coursework preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in used car sales and/or management
- Strong knowledge of the automotive industry and market trends
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to lead and motivate a team
- Proficiency in using dealership management systems and other software
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Must pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
