Resident Care Director

Job Overview
The Resident Director plays a crucial role in managing the daily operations of an assisted living facility or nursing home, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for residents. This position requires strong leadership skills, a background in senior care, and a commitment to enhancing the quality of life for individuals with developmental disabilities, Alzheimer's, and dementia. The Resident Director will oversee staff, develop care plans, and maintain compliance with regulatory standards while fostering a compassionate community.

Duties

• Lead and manage the daily operations of the facility, ensuring high standards of care and service.
• Supervise staff members, providing training and support to enhance their skills in senior care.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans for residents, focusing on their unique needs and preferences.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to Title 22 and Health and Safety Code
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate resident care, including medication administration and health monitoring.
• Manage budgets effectively while maintaining quality services within financial constraints.
• Foster a positive environment that encourages social interaction and engagement among residents.
• Address resident or family concerns promptly and effectively to ensure satisfaction and well-being.
• Maintain accurate records related to resident care and staffing

Qualifications

• Proven experience in assisted living or nursing home settings is essential.
• Background working with individuals with developmental disabilities, Alzheimer's care, or dementia care is highly desirable.
• Strong management skills with experience supervising staff in a healthcare or residential setting.
• Knowledge of operations management within long-term care facilities.
• Financial acumen for budgeting and resource allocation is required.
• Excellent leadership abilities to inspire staff and promote a collaborative team environment.
• Experience in home & community care or group home settings is an advantage.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with residents, families, and team members.
• RCFE Certification is preferred or willing to obtain

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $68,000.00 per year
