Lead Barista

The Lead Barista ensures service experience standards are met and surpassed at all times during the shift. Assist the store manager with daily operating procedures related to beverage and product sales.

Core Responsibilities:

• Coaching and training new associates.
• Ensure all standards are being met related to quality and products.
• Oversee daily operation of the shift, organize, maintain stock and assist as staff needed.
• Follow all health and company standards.
• Place any orders as necessary for the product standards.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Good communication skills verbal and written
• High work ethic and self-initiative
• Regular attendance according to established guidelines
• May be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the property
• Focus and maintain attention to multiple tasks in a short time period, and complete work assignments within deadline demands, despite frequent interruptions
• Ability to maintain excellent relationships with staff and maintain staff and guest confidentiality at all times
• Ability to effectively supervise associates
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Efficient with technology and systems
• Well versed in health and liquor guidelines

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
• Lift approximately thirty (30) pounds
• Grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, pulling, pushing, listening and hearing ability and visual ability
• Extreme temperatures
• Odors
• Noise
• Speak, listen, write
