At Murrieta University you’ll find a unique class rotation that keeps all students involved and engaged through the whole day. We also provide mentorship and training that is designed specifically for MU.
Responsibilities
- Giving staff their morning/ afternoon breaks, including lunch breaks
- Prepping and gathering daily snacks
- Dishes and laundry
- Additional support in classrooms when needed
- Stepping in a classroom when substitute is needed
- Creative mindset with a willingness to generate classroom and school charm
- Effective problem-solving, conflict resolution, classroom management, and communication with children and families
- Responsible for the ordered arrangement, appearance, and décor of the classroom environment
- Sharing the joint housekeeping responsibilities of the staff
- Follow all licensing guidelines and company standards to ensure the safety and care of every child, every day
- Changing and documenting diapers.
Qualifications
- Must have a great love and patience for children
- Must have 12 core ECE units
- Current CPR Certification (infant\child)
- Current TB Test and Immunizations
- Fingerprint and background clearance
- Punctual and reliable
- Energetic and enthusiastic
- Available to work full-time and flexible schedule
- Excellent communication skills
- Capable of maintaining classroom control and mediate between children
- Team player and initiate creative environment
- Experience in a licensed child care center or related field (but not required)
- Walking, squatting, bending, lifting up to 20lbs, kneeling, sitting through an 8hr work day.
