ACCOUNTING ASSOCIATE PRIMARY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in processing customer payments.
- Audit daily booked and completed jobs to ensure accuracy.
- Vendor management.
- Assist in managing accounts receivables.
- Assist with month-end close with a tight deadline.
- Perform basic accounting functions.
- Answer customer inquiries.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
ACCOUNTING ASSOCIATE REQUIREMENTS & MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Forward thinking, problem solving, and the ability to succeed under tight deadlines.
- Experience and familiarity with QuickBooks Online desired, but not required.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills; strict attention to detail. Intermediate to advanced Excel knowledge required.
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills required: including Word and E-mail.
- A high standard of integrity and sound business ethics.
- Demonstrates critical thinking as well as problem solving and analysis.
- Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work effectively with other internal and external departments.
- Ability to work independently and as a team player.
- Comfortable taking inbound and making outbound calls to customers.
