Responsibilities
- Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients based on the application of scientific nursing principles
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
- Monitor and record patient vital signs and medical information accurately
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Educate patients and their families on healthcare procedures, conditions, and self-care techniques
- Ensure the privacy and confidentiality of patient information
Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred
- Experience in critical care, PACU, or similar settings is a plus
- Proficient in performing various nursing procedures, including catheterization and airway management, and IV starts
- Strong knowledge of sterile processing techniques and infection control practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards patients
