Muskegon Surgical Associates has an exciting opportunity for a Physician Assistant. This role will service a busy surgical office based medical practice with over 120 employees. Since 1972, Muskegon Surgical Associates is an independently owned practice that has provided the finest surgical care along West Michigan’s lakeshore. Our surgeons deliver care in multiple specialties including general, hand, plastic, and vascular surgery.
The purpose of the Physician Assistant is to serve as an extension of the general surgeons in a supportive role to deliver absolute surgical care continuity, as well as provide opportunities to improve more lives as a supplementary caregiver.
Education and Experience Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program. Certified by National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
- Completion of an accredited General Surgery Physician Assistant Residency program preferred
- Licensed in the state of Michigan. Maintains controlled substance licensure and DEA Registration and are in good standing.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a surgical specialty preferred

- Monday to Friday, no weekends or evenings
