Are you an enthusiastic, organized, and inspiring educator with a passion for early childhood development? We’re seeking a dedicated Preschool Director to lead our dynamic team and create a nurturing, high-quality learning environment for young children.

Key Responsibilities:

* Oversee daily operations of the school, including staff management, parent engagement, facility upkeep, and quality assurance

* Communicate effectively and professionally with families, addressing concerns with empathy and care

* Promote enrollment by giving engaging tours and hosting community outreach events

* Ensure full compliance with Virginia childcare licensing standards and maintain strong relationships with state regulators

* Supervise and schedule staff to ensure smooth and efficient operations

* Design and implement a robust staff training and professional development program

* Support the delivery of creative, age-appropriate learning experiences across all classrooms

* Guide teachers in developing and implementing lesson plans that align with curriculum goals and developmental best practices

Qualifications:

* Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field (required)

* At least **1 year** of full-time experience as a **Director**, or **2 years** as an **Assistant Director** (required)

* Teaching experience with children from infancy through preschool (required)

* In-depth knowledge of Virginia state licensing regulations for childcare centers

* Must meet all state-specific requirements for this leadership role

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
