Veterinary Assistant

My Pet's Veterinary Urgent Care and Wellness is a hospital under new ownership that has been remodeled and modernized. This is a private doctor owned clinic, with a manager and three doctors that are ER trained and experienced. We are open six days a week.

We are looking for an experienced Veterinary Assistant with ezyvet experience with shift flexibility for a 4 days a week schedule. One weekend day is expected, but flexible.

Case loads are walk in, with clients calling in the morning of and being guided towards what time to come in depending on how busy the clinic is and how urgent the situation is. The cases can range from very exciting to torn nails

Our team is 12 individuals at this time. Everyone is fast-paced and efficient with ER or Urgent Care experience. We are looking for someone who wants to be part of a friendly easy going culture and is truly passionate about helping pets. I am a firm believer in the doctor taking an active hand in clientele interactions, and you will not be expected to handle difficult situations. The manager and doctors are ER experienced and can handle any situation that may walk through the door, so previous ER experience is not required.

Being specific, your role will be as a veterinary assistant, and you will be largely intaking patients and assisting the doctor and technicians with diagnostics and treatments.
