This role is crucial in securing funding that supports our mission to uplift and shape healthy communities. Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare and submit grant proposals, including writing and editing.
- Conduct research and collaborate with staff for supporting information.
- Identify new grant opportunities aligned with MyCHN's strategic initiatives.
- Monitor project deadlines and ensure timely submission of reports.
- Support other grant writers in the Development Department.
- Assist with the Patient Satisfaction survey process.
- Prepare narrative documents, including the Annual Needs Assessment.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Chief Administrative Officer.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Effective communication and writing skills.
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
- Excellent initiative and ability to work independently.
- Knowledge of federal and state contracts.
- Proficiency in managing grants and submission of reports.
