Description
Land Rover Palm Beach is hiring a Facilities Maintenance person to join our family! The right person will perform preventative and as needed maintenance to ensure that grounds, equipment and buildings adhere to all federal, state and local safety regulations. They will ensure that the property is maintained in a manner that is in line with our luxury brands’ images and professional standards.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
Working knowledge of commercial electrical, plumbing, HVAC systems and basic construction.
Able to utilize hand and power tools in a safe manner.
Able to operate scissor- and other types of hydraulic lifts.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform general building maintenance to include changing light bulbs, resolving basic plumbing, mechanical and cosmetic landscaping issues onsite.
Evaluate / recommend vendors and / or contractors for projects outside the scope of this position.
Maintain stock supplies such as paper towels and other paper products.
Answer alarm calls onsite and assist with emergency preparations to insure proper building protection.
Ensure that the facility is being properly stocked and cleaned by outside vendors.
Must be able to work all scheduled hours, including overtime and special events as needed.
Perform other tasks as assigned by Service Manager/General Manager.
Must be able to perform all essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
Assist in decorating showroom during holidays and events.
Move office furniture as needed.
Basic carpentry – Assembling furniture, putting up shelves, etc.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Physical Demands:
Frequently lift 20 – 45 pounds.
Occasionally lift greater than 45 pounds.
Constant walking, standing, bending, reaching, stooping, climbing, lifting, driving.
Work Environment:
Service drive, open parking garage, Service bays, outside lots, office.
Exposure to seasonal temperature changes and elements.
