As an Operations Program Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting new programs and product builds. You will:
The OPS will be responsible for coordinating and managing project documentation including bills of materials (BOM), part specifications, mechanical drawings, and engineering change orders.
You will be involved in the coordination and planning of engineering builds including configuration management deliverables to ensure the timely release of all assemblies to production.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $77,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $141,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. Description
As an Operations Program Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting new programs and product builds. You will:
- Acquire and track materials
- Support hardware development builds
- Lead weekly build readiness meeting with Contract Manufacturing, Engineering, and Materials Procurement teams
- Manage Build Matrix for xVT builds
- Track prototype device allocation and shipment
- Create and structure Bill of Materials (BOM) and communicate new part numbers to internal teams, and with the Contract Manufacturer
- Write Engineering Change Orders (ECO) in Agile and manage changes to the BOM
The OPS will be responsible for coordinating and managing project documentation including bills of materials (BOM), part specifications, mechanical drawings, and engineering change orders.
You will be involved in the coordination and planning of engineering builds including configuration management deliverables to ensure the timely release of all assemblies to production.
Other Responsibilities Include
- Manage Bill of Materials (BOM), parts process oversight: assigning part numbers, routing change orders, completing vendor item ties within corporate Agile system
- Material acquisition and tracking. Manage allocations, track devices allocated to accessory teams, sample destruction after programs completed, shipment and logistics support of units.
- Collect build requests and manage build allocations, assist with and monitory build plans for accessory programs, update build matrix per EPM
- Change Request (ECO/ECN/RCO/NRCO) coordination
- Own and Manage the Build Matrix for all factory builds
- Raise and organize Purchase Orders (PO)
- Establish, organize and maintain program Confluence Pages

- 3 years of program or project management experience
- 3 years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
- Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
- 3 years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
- 3 years of driving process improvements experience
- Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
- Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
