Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the assigned Sales organization and customers during the proposal process. Each day, you will serve as a key technical resource in the assigned area. You will also showcase your expertise by preparing technical descriptions of the products and technology, determining costs, and preparing final documentation.The work model for the role is hybrid.This role is contributing to the Process Automation Measurement & Analytics division.You will be mainly accountable for:â

Your role and responsibilities

- Offering technical advice and solutions on inquiries from customers/channels/Sales Specialists about ABB products/systems/applications.â
- Performing analytic and diagnostic studies to determine the optimal technical solution to meet customer needs and address complex inquiries.â
- Developing and maintaining new sales opportunities and resolving specific customer problems; and ensuring achievement of targets on orders, Net Price Variance (NPV), and Net Promoter Score (NPS).â
- Ensuring the achievement of budget goals, including volume targets and profitable growth, across all assigned product groups and in the respective countries.Our team dynamicsYou will join a {insert adjectives â e.g. dynamic, talented, high performing} team, where you will be able to thrive.
- Bachelorâs degree in Analyzer, Chemical or Instrumentation Engineering, or a similar field preferred.
- 2 years of experience in preparing bids and tenders, working as proposal or inside sales with analyzers and systems integration preferred.
- Knowledge of process analyzers and systems integration.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously
- A collaborative, solution-focused approach with strong written and spoken communication skills but also able to work independently and under pressure
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office software applications
- Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
