Project Kuiper is Amazon's low Earth orbit satellite broadband network. Kuiper IT & Digital Operation team is looking to hire a Software Development engineer. This is a fast-paced, intellectually challenging position, and will work with leaders in multiple technology areas. Have relentlessly high standards for yourself and everyone you work with, and be constantly looking for ways to improve your product's performance, quality and cost. We want individuals who are ready for this challenge and want to reach beyond what is possible today.

Key job responsibilities
Work with Export and Kuiper Security to deliver IAM requirements
- Build and deliver user, device, and service Identities for Kuiper's business operations
- Build RBAC and ABAC services
- Develop secure services utilizing x509 Certificates for Digital Signatures and Encryption
- Develop cloud native software systems in Go
- Utilize AWS and other Amazon technologies to build highly-available software services.
- Design and develop performant systems that meet the mission criteria and requirements.
- Help on-board and mentor new team members.

Basic Qualifications
- 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 3 years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience with full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations

- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
