N.F. Landis and Son is family owned and operated since 1932. We are an appliance dealer and service provider located in Souderton PA. We are looking for motivated individuals to join our installation and delivery department. The Appliance Installation Technician is responsible for providing a high-quality, timely installation of customer appliances, as well as knowledgeable and courteous customer service. We are willing to train anyone who has desire to learn new skills.
Installation Technician Responsibilities include:
- Unpacking, inspecting, and loading truck for daily deliveries
- Moving appliances from the truck to the customer's home
- Installing products to company and manufacturer standards
- Maintaining truck organization and cleanliness
- Completion of installation documentation for management and billing
- Other duties as necessary
Qualifications for this position:
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Ability to lift 75 pounds to a height of 4ft
- Ability to push and pull heavy objects across multiple terrains
- Ability to work independently and with a team
- Ability to stand for at least 75% of the work day
- Ability to kneel, squat, and crouch as needed to install appliances
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
- Must possess working mechanical skills, including the use of tools and equipment
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
