We are searching for a full-time, HR Generalist based in our Sacramento, CA location to join our growing HR Team! As we grow, we need a dynamic HR professional to help shape our employee experience, support our teams and make HR a true strategic partner in our business. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly adaptable HR professional looking to make a large impact while joining a fun, supportive and collaborative team. This role reports to the HR Director and is 100% onsite at the Sacramento location.

What You’ll Do
As an HR Generalist, you will wear many hats, ensuring our people have the support and resources needed to be successful. Here’s some highlights of the impactful work you will do:
Employee Relations
- Support employee relations by addressing concerns and fostering a positive workplace culture
- General employee relations, including coaching and conflict resolution
HR Compliance & Policies
- Keep us on top of best practices, employment laws and policies
- Policy and Training tracking and administration
Payroll & Benefits
- Assist with payroll processing, leave tracking and timekeeping systems
- Administer employee benefits programs, including insurance and 401(k) enrollment, changes and communication with providers
HR Operations
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, ensuring confidentiality and data integrity in ADP HRIS system
- Data reporting for key HR metrics such as attendance, headcount, turnover rates, hiring etc.
Talent Management
- Support recruitment, onboarding and career development to attract and retain top talent
- Support leaders with performance review process
Workplace Health & Safety
- Assist with Workers’ Compensation injury reporting and return to work management
- Support of the Workplace Health & Safety program across all US locations
What we’re looking for:
Knowledge and Experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience in an HR Generalist or similar role
- Strong knowledge of US employment laws, HR best practices and compliance
- Experience in administration of payroll and benefits
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Strong proficiency with data analysis tools for metrics reporting
- Attention to detail and ability to multi-task
- Exceptional verbal, written communication and presentation skills
- Ability to build rapport and trust with employees
Education Required
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred
Additional Requirements
- This role requires some travel to other N9NE Furniture Group locations within the US and occasional meetings in Canada. Valid passport for air and/or land travel is required.
- Ability to work 100% onsite, full-time.
